Desde hace mucho tiempo he tenido una cierta fascinación con esta mujer, desde que la veía en películas y en tv, y cuando la escuché cantar por primera vez, su voz me cautivó. Después de tantos años de espera, me da mucho gusto que por fin grabe un album.

Mazzy Star - So Tonight That I Might See

Ahora les traigo a Mazzy Star que fué una banda indie/dreampop que se dió a conocer a principios de los 90's, conformada por Hope Sandoval y David Roback.
A esta banda yo la recuerdo de aquellos tiempos porque sonaba mucho con la rolita "Fade Into You", excelente track salido de su álbum So Tonight I Might See de 1993.

A pesar de que este álbum ya tiene más de una década, su música y voz me parecen igual de hipnotizantes...

Eso es saber hacer música! (y que cuando la toquen en vivo sientas que una obra maestra te recorra la sangre)

Lykke Li

Bueno pues ahora les presento otra propuesta excelente traída desde Suecia (en verdad, que buena música hacen por allá) : Lykke Li.
Hace rato que no encontraba música buena, pero esta cantante sueca de 21 años en lo personal me parece que será la "Next-Big-Thing" en la escena independiente, trae una propuesta muy original, con un sonido acoustic/electro/lo-fi(but not too lo-fi)/pop, y que desde hace unos meses que encontre su música no he parado de escucharla...

Sin más preámbulo, primeramente les traigo su EP que salió el año pasado que trae 3 canciones cada una excelente, pero en verdad la que no puedo dejar de escuchar es "Little Bit", su sonido es super catchy y la letra: “ Hands down/I’m too proud for love/But eyes shut/it’s you I’m thinking of ... I would do it/Push a button/Pull a trigger/Climb a mountain/Jump off a cliff/Cause you know baby I love you, love you a little bit"...GENIAL.
