CocoRosie

CocoRosie es un duo americano formado por las hermanas Sierra (Rosie) y Bianca (Coco) Casady en el 2003. Sierra, la mayor, nació en Iowa, y Bianca en Hawai. Su madre las llamaba Rosie y Coco respectivamente, y de ahi tomaron sus nombres artisticos.

Estilisticamente se encuentran dentro del indie rock o el folk experimental asociandolas en ocasiones con el movimiento «new weird america». Sierra toca la guitarra, la flauta y es la voz principal. Bianca se encarga de la percusión y de las cajas de ritmos. El grupo suele incluir tambien diferentes sonidos de objetos como juguetes para dar forma a su personal sonido.
