Recuperé mucha información de mi compu vieja que daba por muerta, entre esa info está mucha música que me gustaría compartir..
Empezamos con Cabezas de Cera, una banda que vale la pena escuchar. Desafortundamente sólo logré recuperar este disco 1, si les gusta me dejan de tarea buscar el 2 y otros más.

Paatos

Pues de nuevo una banda sueca hace presencia en el blog y ahora es el turno de Paatos, que es una banda de rock formada en el 2000 por miembros de otras importantes bandas del género, bandas como Landberk y Morte Macabre a los cuales se le suma la vocalista y chelista Petronella Nettermalm.
Su música me parece que es melancólica y mística por los largos arreglos músicales y se siente una clara influencia nórdica, además de ser muy atmosférica y ambiental gracias a la impecable y cristalina voz de Petronella. Paatos es usualmente clasificada como una banda de rock progresivo, sin embargo están influenciados por bandas como Portishead y Massive Attack lo que les da una fusión entre el rock con el jazz y toques ambient.
Su discografía consta de 3 albums de estudio, Timeloss en 2002, Kallocain en 2004 y Silence of Another Kind en 2006. El más reciente album es Sensors, que es un album en vivo recopilando tracks de sus tres discos, que por cierto pronto lo publicaré por aquí jeje.

No hay mucho que decir de este album que salió en el 2005 y que fomentó aún más mi amor por Porcupine Treel la cúspide de mi amor fue el concierto de hace dos meses en la ciudad de México: Excelso, igual que Steven Wilson.
Eso es saber hacer música! (y que cuando la toquen en vivo sientas que una obra maestra te recorra la sangre)

Este es un disco clave de the gathering, es el punto en donde diverge su material hacia lados más experimentales y triphoperos y adaptando su lado doom metalero a un triphop con matices melancólicos y a veces un poco oscuros.
En lo personal es un disco que me gusta mucho,

Una de mis bandas favoritas desde mi lejana juventud jeje.
Este es el último album (2003) de los ingleses liderados por los hermanos Cavanagh, y aunque el grupo aún existe, tristemente no tienen firma con una disquera.
Este album es diferente a los anteriores (que después subiré) perologra plasmar esos toques melancólicos tan característicos de la banda.
